Radar Detectors

Valentine One agrees with military strategists in this aspect, "that a successful defense starts with reliable intelligence about the enemy".

Valentine One is outfitted with a patented warning system which relies on both forward- and rear-facing radar antennas, as well as front and rear laser sensors. Their units go beyond other ordinary detectors by notifying you "on every alert", where to look, and how many you should look for. Once you are in possession of this intelligence report, you can easily deduce when to defend, and when you can simply ignore a non-threatening warning.

Valentine One is also the only detector equipped with two radar antennas, one in the front and one at the rear, letting you scan all around your vehicle and locate precisely each specific radar threat.

Ordinary radar detectors only have a single antenna facing forward, in order to cover the flanks and the rear of your car, they are hopeful that radar signals will luckily bounce towards the front opening. Valentine One utilizes front and rear antennas, both reporting to an onboard microprocessor to analyze and precisely pinpoint the location of every radar threat, which is either accomplished by direct reception from a single antenna or triangulation between the two antennas.

Optimizing Laser Detection
Every laser encounter is relatively different in the real world. The factors complicating the accuracy of the results are:
. the amount of sunlight in the detector's field of vision, the sunlight can be reflected, direct, or scattered
. the paint color of the vehicle where the detector is installed
. the distance between the laser gun and the targeted vehicle
. the condition of the road geometry, where the laser trap is located
. the traffic in between the detector and the laser trap

Valentine One fully understands these conditions, and is continuously developing new technology, to either take advantage of, or compensate for the pitfalls of avoiding the ticket.

Valentine One's Full Time POP Protection
Valentine One is featured with full-time POP Protection, this "POP" method of detecting speeders is the newest technology utilized by law enforcement, it delivers signals in "spurts", making it more difficult for radar or laser detectors to defend against. Just plug it in, turn it on, and you're protected.

V1's warning range with regard to POP is beyond the set features of other detector brands. The V1 units trim back the warning range on POP, effectively reducing false alarms. V1's excellent and superior engineering provides range on POP that's way beyond other brand detectors, and beyond the line of sight.

Some supposedly "famous brands" track down only Ka band, too. V1 gives coverage beyond Ka signals, specifically the MPH Industries models Enforcer, which emits K and Ka frequencies, as well as the BEE III.

You're probably noticed that many detectors of other brands tend to create false alarms that set off warnings on your detector. Hundreds of thousands of poorly engineered detectors coming from companies, such as Cobra, Bel, Uniden, and Radio Shack let out local oscillator harmonics or wavelengths that are particularly similar in characteristics to the POP radar spurts used by MPH Industries. Ordinary detectors aren't designed clever enough to effectively distinguish between these harmonics.
